johnpalmerI had a little bit of a funny feeling about my last entry, so I want to make sure I'm clear about this.
I'm not saying that anyone over 50 has to support gay marriage.
I'm not saying that anyone over 50 is to blame for the fact that gays are discriminated against.
I'm not saying anything bad about a randomly chosen 50+ year old person.
I *am* saying that any 50+ year old who
1) thinks disparagingly of some of the stories told about brief, anonymous, purely sexual encounters among large numbers of gay men, and
2) refuses to acknowledge that society's laws, and society's hatred and contempt of gay people played a huge role in that behavior
has no right to talk about 'responsibility'.
