I like ice cream with candies, nuts, and other assorted chunky bits.
Yes, I know... the media's been telling us for years that the only ice cream is smooth and creamy, shouting it out every day on the front pages. Chunky bits are the works of Satan, or at least a close cousin of his.
But the fact remains... I like what I like, and I think people should eat ice cream they way they think it's best.
Herm.
Needs some work. The last bit, especially is just too damn conciliatory.
The war makes certain kinds of rhetoric stand out, and the "everyone is against me, but I'll speak the truth" is one I just got another dose of, and, frankly, I'd like to declare a moratorium on that particular rhetorical game for a while.
