Oct. 24th, 2005 11:09 pmNew update at For The Dream.
It's been a very tiring week, and deciding to go on a four hour walk over the weekend didn't help.
Rule one: next time I go on a four hour walk, I'm wearing better fitting shoes with better socks.
Rule two: long periods of exhaustion after a lot of physical activity *can* be alleviated in part by eating high quality protein in decent quantities.
I'm sorry I've fallen off the face of the earth, and thanks to everyone who commented on my last few journal entries. I've been exhausted, busy, and having funky mood problems over the past couple weeks. I think things might be getting better.

(And, I'm reading. But I'm not one of the people you have to persuade.)

Date: 2005-10-26 05:49 am (UTC)The mood problems... part of the problem is that I've gone off my Wellbutrin, because I just need to know if I can, and, well, there are other reasons. I'm on SR. I think XL was working great, and I think SR could be Wellbutrin SuxxoR or however that would be rendered in leet.
But regardless, my gut (as in "gut feeling" not "digestive system") thinks that going off the Wellbutrin is a good idea... and, honestly, it wasn't helping much when I was on the SR.

Date: 2005-10-26 05:50 am (UTC)Rest is a good idea, but what I meant was that I was useless for anything *but* rest until I ate about six ounces of chuck steak that I was in the process of turning into barbecue and chili. Once I ate that, it was like someone had turned the energy switch back on.

Someone this weekend, during what served as the apc equivalent of a foodporn thread, noted that food, on occasion, is love made tangible. In which case making food could be described as making love. (-:
