Anyone local to Kent, Washington...

If there's anyone relatively close to Kent, Washington who can stop in our apartment twice over a long weekend and check to make sure our cats are fed and watered, I'm willing to pay $40 for the service.

I was hoping to make my visit home alone, but Chris was determined to come. The cats can probably make it alone for the nearly four days alone, but I don't want to take any chances, and I'd like for them to have some human contact.

It's a bit of a scoot, but not at all a problem for me (if someone who is closer and could use the money doesn't speak up). We don't like to leave our kitties that long, either.

(I've trying to figure out a way to get up to Kent to take care of the kitties and things while John's gone, but I've got commitments I can't weasel bow out of this weekend.)

Actually, I was waiting a little bit, for two reasons:

First, if someone else mentioned they were more local, I'd go for them first, and second... well, it's hard to remember that the day after Tuesday is Wednesday, and the day after that, I have less than a day to make final arrangements because, yes, I'm leaving on Friday... but have to be up by 3-4am on Friday :-).
