... is that when I do workouts on my treadmill, I soak my shirts with sweat. I'm always sweaty but ye gods, when I'm doing a heavier workout, it's amazing!

(No, I'm *not* hanging sweat-soaked tee-shirts on my treadmill, but I understand the temptation!)

I'm now 24 for 24 on the year for workouts. I really have to decide on a goal for the year sometime before I decide to work out on a broken leg to avoid breaking my perfect streak :-).

(I can't be the only person who does this - playing with fractions and percentages and so forth gets fascinating. Like, I can skip tomorrow and the day after, and still stay safely over 90%, but just one more week, and I could take off *three* days in a row, and still be at 90%. But I'm still not even at 10% on the year, yet!)

I'm thinking that shooting for 75% would be a good, do-able goal. It's more than 5 days a week, but with a good start, it means I don't have to panic if I take some time off.

If I make it, I'll be as a god among men (probably still fat and not in very good shape, but think of Dionysus) , and if I don't, well, who the hell cares, what's one less god between friends?

More seriously, the point of making *any* goal like this is to learn about yourself and your wants and limits. If I don't even make 66% days worked out, then
a) Maybe I don't like exercising as much as I think, or
b) maybe I need to re-think what I'm doing to work out, or
c) maybe I'm making my workouts too hard!, or
d) maybe I was injured or sick, and made a the best of good faith efforts, which is really what counts.
