Fitness update

15 minutes of shoveling snow leaves me pleasantly tired. I got my walk, and both of my neighbors'. I also got 30 minutes of step aerobic, which is a lot more boring than it sounds (stepping up and down - and sometimes side-to-side - on a stepping bench), but I get to watch videos.
I think I can stop thinking of my heart as "too weak" and start thinking of it as "getting stronger".
Day three of a low carbohydrate eating pattern. It's been interesting, because there are some things I have to use up (some potatoes that I want to use up, so I can make the best use of the duck fat
kightp brought me), and I don't really have the house stocked with low-carb munchies. But I did make a run to the grocery store, which helped alleviate that. And, now I can use up those oyster crackers with oyster stew.
