Today, I did ten intervals, 35 seconds each (55 seconds of rest). I've been feeling mostly good today, but I'm a tiny bit headache-y and tired now (after doing about 20 minutes of walking, later in the day).

Earlier this month, I probably would have felt crappy all day from just the interval training. So, my heart is definitely getting stronger, and quickly.

As a side benefit, I'm also exercising the foot, leg, and hip muscles I need to exercise if I want to be able to run (and I do)... even though I'm running just a bit over 5 minutes, I am running, and that's enough to give the muscles a bit of a workout.

Where did you find your interval routine or how did you devise it?

Yay you! I'm glad you are finding a training mechanism that is working for you.

I still regret being unable to connect last weekend, but as it turned out, I did just the right things so I did not get overtired...esp. good as I have a full social schedule this week as well. Soon. We can sort it out soon...
