johnpalmerYou know, if someone walked into my apartment and stole my briefcase, my laptop, and a bunch of new clothes that my mother-in-law bought my wife just four or five months ago, it would have been okay... I was working then.
If they'd stolen them Friday, at least I wouldn't be upset for my certification exam, tomorrow.
And if they'd been just a minute or two on the other side of when they did it, they'd have learned a valuable lesson about walking into other people's homes, assuming they gave me time to apply my staff to areas besides their head in subduing them. (No promises if I had to whack them upside the head, but since a rattan pole was closest, they probably wouldn't have been seriously injured even then.)
It's time for me to get back to talking to pawn shops and used computer stores.
