johnpalmerI'm in dire need of a set of earplugs. I decided to hit the gym today in the middle of the afternoon, hoping to avoid any crowds. Well, apparently that doesn't work in this town... there was a *really* loud racquetball game going on, and a fair number of people, and the TV was on.
I thought I could handle it, and I started my workout. But when I found myself having to change machines, I ran into an issue. The racquetball game had ended, and now I could hear the TV.
They were playing Fox News.
I was tired by this time, and I've been stressed lately. I didn't last ten minutes. I'm now starting to understand why people dislike Fox.
So I'm hoping I can find some really good earplugs for future trips to the gym. They're not usually playing anything so obnoxious, but you never know when it might happen again.
