I was searching through some old newsgroup posts, and I found this quote I figured I'd share.
The right to free speech(and the press, etc) is one leg; the
right to be able to fight if necessary is the second. The third is
the one that can't be given or taken by *ANY* government: it is the
determination to be free.
Put all three together, and true tyranny will have a hard time of
it and a pyrrhic victory at best; take away one, and it can win
handily.
But take away the last, and it doesn't really matter.
