"In fact, nearly every sequence of punctuation is used for something in Perl. So, if you get writer's block, just let the cat walk across the keyboard and debug what results."
Given that one of my techniques for breaking writer's block is to write complete garbage that advances the story or idea, and then figuring out why it sucks so badly, and re-writing it right, this has some special meaning for me.
