Sep. 9th, 2003 03:59 pmWell, you know, when it comes to true amatuer sports, the only real question of winning or losing is "did you show up, and play your best?", and if the answer is "yes", you won the most important victory you could. The game itself is secondary. Sure, someone has to win, someone has to lose, but if you make the game entirely about having the better score, you're ignoring the forest for the sake of some really nice trees.
So, by *that* standard, I did really well with my interview.
As for the 'final score'? Well... I won't find out until tomorrow or Thursday.
I feel good, and I know that I gave it my all, but, when you get right down to it, I haven't seen the competition, so I won't know until I know.
