March Rogers is a wonderful local shaman who runs a healing circle the first Saturday of every month. It's not exactly a circle for healing any one person, but more of a "come on out, learn the basics of raising healing energy, and participating".
March is also my most likely mentor in spirituality. We work well together, and he's going to be running an Irish Shamanism class that I hope to attend.
This time, though, as he described his vision while providing healing energy, he pointed out that the music had a certain quality.
I asked in a delighted, but pretend-horrified tone, "The spirit world has a SOUNDTRACK?
"Of course it does; how else would you know what's going on?" he responded. "It's like one of those foreign movies without subtitles, sometimes. You need every advantage you can get."
Yeah, I can deal with learning from someone like that.
