So, yesterday, I finished my book... and realized just as I finished, I found my big theme, so I have to zip through the chapters (for some meaning of the word "zip" that means "go through them in excruciating detail") and make sure they all support the buildup.
No biggie... it's one of those things where I realize that I know what I want to do, and just have to wrassle it into getting done. I don't know about other writers, but I imagine if feels kind of like weaving (or perhaps nitting. Or is that knitting? Damkn, I cakn knever keep those straight!), undoing a portion, then pulling in the right threads and such until it becomes a seamless addition to the fabric.
