"Entertainment freebasing"

Sometimes I watch TV or a movie while playing a computer game on my laptop. I sometimes think of it as entertainment freebasing... maybe taking in a bit too much entertainment in one sitting, maybe doing something that's not really quite good for me.

But then I discovered something horrible. My new game love, Titan Quest, won't play on my laptop. (Well... it will. But the screen keeps going in and out on me.)

And I thought, well...

... maybe it's for the best.
... maybe I should just watch TV, or play computer games.
... maybe this will be a good thing, when you get right down to it.
... MAYBE I CAN MOVE MY LAPTOP TO MY COMPUTER TABLE! HEY! I can! COOL! Lemme boot up the laptop, stick my Fantastic Four DVD in...

Bring Titan Quest with you when you come down this week. Maybe it'll play on the old laptop. (-:

Well, the solution was pretty obvious. I wasn't sure that my compulsion to play computer games was that strong, though.
