I first discovered Animusic at Consonance in 2001, shortly after it was originally released. [livejournal.com profile] gridlore and I were in Fry's Electronics over the weekend, and I was overjoyed to see them running the second compilation (released last year) on one of their demo TVs.

There's a much cleaner copy of Pipe Dream, as well as several other segments from both DVDs, on the Animusic page at iFilm.

Animusic is one of those mind-meltingly fantastic experiences. I need to get the second DVD... heck, I need to get the first DVD now that my roommate is moving out and taking his copy with him. :)
