I have a contract offer from Accenture, working for Microsoft... from home.

Unfortunately, it would require me to work through a certain company that makes me feel like I've had ten thousand of their names passed through certain parts of my body. Still... the job, pay, benefits, and work conditions (you never know how much you appreciate your kitchen until you spend $7 on a lower quality lunch from a workplace cafeteria) sound *really* good. I could do this. It wouldn't hurt me a bit.

So, I was right about not being unemployed past Friday.

Tomorrow... well, tomorrow I have a job interview, for a job I really hope I'll get, and that it's as good as I could hope it could be. I'll find out.

Once again, I'll be at peace... what will be, will be. (But I think I'm going to pick up some new interview clothes, anyway.)

Excellent!

This one's your insurance: You're set if you need to be, and with a position that does offer certain advantages (can't beat the commute!)

Very cooperative of the universe to arrange things so you can relax tomorrow and enjoy yourself; I'll be sure add a few "thank yous" to tonight's "... and please" candle.

Me, I'm trying to figure out what I suspect is a Truly Hideous Pun in that second paragraph... (-;

For truly hideous (non)puns, go here, and have a very juvenile imagination for the last sentence in the fifth paragraph.

It's not fair, it's not right, I owe the author a drink for getting the giggles.

Must leave the office now. Giggling.

erg. The placement of conjunctions can be so important. And I some things I don't want from a fast-food counter, thankyouverymuch.

In other news, Congratulations!

Oh, John, this sounds wonderful. I'll send GoodThoughts for tomorrow, but it's very nice to know that Plan B is a viable one.

Good luck on the interview, John. No matter how it plays out, it sounds like things are working out well.
