Okay. I used to have a Palm Pilot. Now, I have an iPod Touch. I need to be able to keep track of contacts.

Is there a good, simple contacts manager? Ideally one that does, or might, sync to Thunderbird?

(Worse comes to worst, it's okay if I have to put my contacts on Google Mail, but I have more faith in my little pocket devices and my various PCs than I have in even a good, solid cloud performer like Google.)

I don't know a way to use Thunderbird contacts with an iPod Touch. However, iTunes will happily sync your iPod Touch with Outlook or Outlook Express.

Well... you know, I used to think I wasn't going to use Outlook, because it was all connected to my work account and stuff. I guess there's no need to worry about *that* any more! :-).

I don't know how it did it, but my Android synced itself to my yahoo, my gmail, and my thunderbird contact lists.

without pruning any duplicates. And it won't let me delete anything, merely hide entries.
