Yesterday was the first snow of the season! Well, just a light dusting - not even that, really, but definitely snow coming down!
So I decided to bring in my patio furniture.
Contrary to my prior belief, opening the basement door *does not* unlatch the doorknob lock.
And, you know, after having my house burgled, I've been *so* very good about locking all of my doors. And, wow, I never replaced the key in my key safe, either!
Sigh.
$200 to drill a lock. Not the worst I've seen.
