Brief update...

So... Friday I got laid off.

Boy... that really *IS* brief, isn't it? :-)

Well... money is 'okay', and I ran down to Oregon to visit Pat for a few days to get myself relaxed and ready to 'do stuff'... job search, get certifications, etc..

Good luck with everything. Is everyone laying off at the end of the quarter, or something? You're the fourth person in a fortnight.

Sorry to hear about the layoff. I think that really scrapes, especially since you moved cross-country in order to keep your job. Did you at least get some kind of severance other than "here's where you file for unemployment"?

I wish you good luck with the new job search (and everything else).

And, if you want, a hug, not only because getting laid off scrapes (I think I said that, but it's still true) but also because I like you.
