Almost there...
Jun. 14th, 2012 03:27 pm26 minutes at 6 miles an hour yesterday. Some tiredness, not too bad.
30 minutes today, 15 at 5.5, then 15 at 5.7, today. The same - the only difference is, I took the aspirin *before* I exercised, and it seems to have prevented the headache.
Doctor has bumped my beta blocker dose up - doubled it - but she says that these drugs work with diminishing returns, so doubling it is the next logical step (even though I could take 1.5 as much).
I think I could jog at 6 miles an hour for 30 minutes (which many of you may remember was a big goal for me - hence, the title). I'm going to try it Saturday or Sunday.
My weight's definitely on a downward trend again. I've been under 230 every morning for a week, rather than bouncing between 225 and 235.
And my fasting blood sugar is dropping, at long last.
It's interesting - I think my weight stopped dropping, and my fasting sugar started getting wonky, when I stopped exercising as hard, because I realized how bad it made me feel. Now, well, now I can exercise hard, and things are starting to get better again.
