Trying to remember...
May. 18th, 2012 09:07 pmToday, I got out of my car, and walked - oh, hell, let's jog! - to the drug store. I don't feel powerful, but I feel the way a person who is fit is supposed to feel. It's *good* to have a body. It's good to *move* that body. It's *fun* to move that body. Hey, remember that scene in that movie/TV show? I wonder if I could (do that/learn to do that); it must be neat to make a body do that!
Part of this is muscular - I've been working my lower body intensely for 5 months now, and I was working it decently for six months before that.
Part of this is also metabolic - I'm on a low carb diet, so my blood sugars are stable, and my body is re-building.
And, part of it is, I was extra careful on exercise yesterday, and, um, well, skipped my morning workout to play Diablo III.
Anway, regarding the subject line: I'm trying to *remember* this feeling, and trying to store it away as "this is what normal good health feels like. When you don't have this, something is not optimal, and you need to take action."
