What a year...

I learned that I can work a lot harder, for much longer, than I'd ever realized... and I've learned how long it takes to recover from the exhaustion of doing so.

I learned that non-malicious, clueless folks can be extremely damaging, especially if they're managers.

I learned to accept my own judgment over the judgment of those non-malicious clueless folks.

I've learned that I Can accomplish things I never knew I could.

And I learned that I can lead a team, in a tight struggle, and make those who are of good will and working by my side quite pleased to work with me.

I've learned that I can be a hell of a lot stronger than I thought - and I'd always had a high opinion of my strength.

And I've learned to find some peace in areas I wasn't sure I'd find peace in... including finding peace in my own limitations and weaknesses, while realizing that they might fade, in time.

But it was a very long, very hard, and very stressful and exhausting year. And I truly hope that 2011 is a new beginning, with better times ahead.
