But I was right to be concerned. As soon as I loosened the bolts, the microwave wanted to drop, so I had to be ready to let it down gently - and, the cord doesn't *quite* fit through the hole they drilled for it - even if you strip off the duct tape. Next, I figure out how to put up a range hood.
