Sep. 15th, 2005 09:25 pmSo, it's been a busy long-time, hasn't it?
Well... I managed to move to my new apartment, and anyone who might want phone number or mailing address information, feel free to mail me; my e-mail address is in my user info. It's not a bad place for the price; it's spacious and generally well put together, but it's a cheap-ish apartment, and there are places where it shows. (Paint peeling on the outside, rumbly hot water pipes, and the like.)
There were some issues I could fix (the apartments are afflicted with dampness; I bought a dehumidifier), and some I couldn't (that blasted hot water faucet in the bathroom is going to remind me I want to *move* by the end of the lease).
Work picked this moment to get busy; my boss is off getting married, and we've had multiple product installs over the past couple weeks, and that, combined with moving, and a week long visit from
kightp, took up so much of my time that it's hard to remember where all of the time went!
But I'm back to semi-normal, and I've updated For The Dream with some commentary about Richard Baker's famous comments about God cleaning up public housing. (If you can't guess what I have to say about that, you probably don't know me all that well. :-) )
Maybe I'll update more later; for now, well, my last bit of work busy-ness entails coming in at 8:30 am tomorrow, and that means it's time for bed, soon. Good night, all!
