Regarding gay marriage

I just posted this as a response to talk about gay marriage in a friend's journal. I decided I liked it enough to repost it here, more-or-less as a written spell.

(Begin incantation)
I think it's time.

I think it's time to fight, and more importantly, to evoke from the foes what they will do to fight back.

I think that there might be a setback, but that the poison required to create such a setback will create the positive backlash that we need.

I think there might need to be defeat before there can be victory... that people might need to see what it is we're really fighting *against*, so they can understand what it is we're fighting for.

Many of the enemy claim to pray to Jesus... they do not pray to his spirit, for all that they pray to his name, but their greatest weakness is that Jesus may be listening to them... and may answer their prayers. But not in the way they expect....
