I'm updating my journal most often because I'm sick than I have in the month or longer before then.

Of course, I think part of the reason for that is that I never recovered from the first bit of creeping crud I picked up, and that it's continued creeping for over a month.

I had plans for today; I was going to mail out my taxes and another package. I was going to stop by Fred Meyer and pick up some other-than-plain yogurt (yeah, guys, you can get a yeast infection from large doses of antibiotics, too), and some Science Diet to mix with the Cat Chow.

I ended up filing my taxes online so I didn't have to worry about mailing them Monday, and was about to blow off everything else. I finally (and semi-wisely) went to the teriyaki place down the street and the next-door stop-n-rob to get some juice and canned fruit (and let's ignore the impulse junk food) and yakisoba (for dinner tonight) and combo fried rice (for re-heated food whenever).

Moving around a little bit was good. I was feeling like all of my muscles on the back half of my body had shortened up. Now they've loosened up some... thank god!

For all that my life today is unending phyiscal misery, my actual symptoms seem to be reducing. I'm not coughing my lungs out any more and my other points that feel inflamed and infected aren't feeling as bad. In fact, I'm not quite sure why I feel so *awful*.

Ah well. Back to bed, soon...

YOu have my sympathy. Being sick is no fun, especially when it just hangs on.

I'm getting hit with allergies hard this year, and it's felt like I've had a cold off and on all week. No fun.

To ensure that you keep getting the rest you need, instead of deciding to walk ten miles because you're feeling better!

Hey! Last time it was only *six* miles. And it wasn't because I was feeling better, it was because I was feeling too lazy! And you can't say that was a mistake, even if, 3 days later, the crud had crept into my lungs because... well, *because*. And anyway, it helped me by making me feel bad enough to get to the doctor, so that's something!

Glad to read you are getting better. In the PNW, chest crud can linger. Get going gently.
