"Hey, John," this hypothetical person says to me before the debate, "John Kerry is going to kick Bush's butt in the debate, but here's the thing: he's going to kick his butt six ways to Sunday when the question is about personal religious beliefs".

"Yeah, right," I'd say. "Pull the other one; it's got bells on."

Wow.

If you didn't notice that silver platter with the two lumps on it being graciously given to Bush by Kerry afterwards, well... do I really have to spell the joke out?

If there was a truly undecided person watching that debate who thought "Boy, that convinces me that George W. Bush would be a better President than John Kerry", I'd be stunned.
