John, it will all work out. When the depressive states sneak up on you, do not try to get through an entire day at a time. Try for an hour or so at a time, or half a day. Okay, as long as *you* think you can manage without going into a spiral. (There were times for me that it was as little a 2-3 minutes at a time.) Full spectrum light bulbs help some. Also try to do something nice for yourself every day. Sometimes as simple as sitting and doing absolutely nothing for 10-15 minutes, it doesn't have to cost money.

When you are up looking at the things that bother you, try looking at them one at a time instead of all together. That way they can't all gang up on you.

I have complete faith you can manage all this with not too much trouble. Hugs and a pot of tea and scones.
